A Shalimar man was sentenced Friday to 70 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to child pornography charges.
Jeffrey Boone Jr. used Kik Messenger to anonymously distribute pornographic images of himself and a “small minor female” in October 2021, according to the FBI.
“There is no greater charge than the protection of our children,” said Northern District of Florida U.S. Attorney Jason Coody.
Authorities noticed the images and immediately served a search warrant at Boone’s home, allowing agents to rescue the minor female.
“Acts of such depravity are horrific and will be vigorously investigated and prosecuted,” Coody continued.
