Pensacola voters elect D.C. Reeves as new Mayor

D.C. Reeves has been elected as the next Mayor of Pensacola.

The 38-year-old beat out  Jewel Cannada-Wynn, Steven Sharp as well as Sherri Myers with 51.13% of the vote.

Cannada-Wynn followed with 19.97% of the vote, Sharp received 16.02%, and Myers had 12.88%.

Reeves celebrated his victory with his family by his side and his supporters at his brewery, the Perfect Plain Brewing Co.

The Pensacola native is an entrepreneur and community builder who is the Chief Financial Officer of  the Spring Entrepreneur Hub.

The office opened up when Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson announced that he would not seek re-election.
