Gov. Ron DeSantis made judicial appointments to the First Judicial Circuit Court and Escambia County Court.

The governor appointed Randall “Todd” Harris of Cantonment to the First Judicial Circuit. Harris is a partner at Fleming, Harris, Bond, Bush & Associates, and earned his law degree from FSU. He’ll replace Judge Michael Flowers, who resigned in April.

Kristina “Tina” Lightel of Pensacola was appointed to fill the seat of Judge Amy Broderson, who also resigned in April. Her background includes serving as an attorney for the Department of Children and Families and was an Assistant State Attorney in the First Judicial Circuit.
