The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a correctional officer who was a subject of an undercover investigation.
According to OCSO, Jerry Lee Hollingsworth Jr. sent messages to an investigator posing as a 14-year-old boy. The DeFuniak Springs resident has been charged with using a computer to seduce, solicit or lure a child as well as using a two-way communications device to commit a felony.
The sheriff’s office said Hollingsworth had sent a picture to the undercover officer among other messages.
Hollingsworth was released from the Okaloosa County Jail three days after his booking on a $20,000 bond.
