Jefferson County School District receives ‘Incomplete’ grade from FDOE

by

The Jefferson County School District was one of two in the state that received an “Incomplete” rating by the Florida Department of Education.

Grades were not given out in 2020 due to the pandemic, and the following year schools could opt out of having their grades posted.

One of those schools was Jefferson-Somerset Charter School, which received a “D” grade for the 2021-22 school year. It earned a “C” in 2019.

Schools must earn a letter grade by testing at least 90 percent of its students. Schools that fail to meet that percentage receive an “Incomplete” due to insufficient data.
