“Women Against Matt Gaetz” gets 6,000 followers

by carlislewillard

Six thousand people are now following the “Women Against Matt Gaetz” Facebook page.

The group was formed after the controversial and polarizing Congressman made comments calling pro-choice activists “disgusting.”

The group was created by Walton County’s Democratic State Committeewoman Samantha Herring.

“We are women who have had enough of Congressman Matt Gaetz and his offensive aggression toward women,” the group’s Facebook page says. “We are organizing to hold him accountable.”

The group went to Niceville on July 30, standing outside a building where Gaetz was holding a rally. There will be another protest on Saturday when Gaetz comes to Pensacola.
