by carlislewillard

Okaloosa County Commissioner Carolyn Ketchel is seeking her third four-year term on the District 3 seat.

The Republican faces Republicans CareySue Beasley and Matt Turpin in the Aug. 23 Primary Election.

Ketchel has been active in the Northwest Florida Community as a Christian radio talk show host and served as former Sen. Don Gaetz‘s legislative director.

Turpin is a partner in multiple businesses and says he will “work to defend the conservative values of Okaloosa County.”

Beasley and her husband own two small businesses and worked in the hospitality industry. In recent years she has worked in the healthcare industry.
