by carlislewillard

The nonpartisan Okaloosa County School Board Primary Election for Seat 5 will feature incumbent Diane Kelley and Cara Marion.

Kelley has been an educator for 40 years and is seeking her second four-year term. She has been active in the community as a tutor as well as church pianist. She also served on the Valparaiso City Commission.

Marion is a retired Air Force veteran who retired after more than 20 years of service and has also served as a mental health counselor intern.

Okaloosa County Schools Superintendent Marcus Chambers recently apologized to Marion for releasing student information about her daughter.
