State Rep. Patt Maney recently received the Advancing Institutional Mission, or AIM, Award from Northwest Florida State College in recognition of his work to expand educational opportunities in the Northwest Florida area.
His contributions include an $11 million appropriation for the Gallimore Center for Healthcare Education on NWFSC’s Niceville campus as well as $7.5 million for deferred maintenance. Maney, a Republican representing House District 4, is the fourth person to receive the AIM award since it was established last year.
“Rep. Maney exemplifies what it means to be a part of the Raider family,” said NWFSC President Dr. Devin Stephenson.
