Pensacola to host several 4th of July fireworks shows

by Margaret Willard

Those in Pensacola looking to celebrate Independence Day will have several choices July 4.

The big Sertoma fireworks show begins at 9 p.m. in downtown Pensacola, but live music will kick off at 4:30 p.m. The Symphony Sparks & Stars will take place at the Community Maritime Park, with a Navy flyover shortly after 7:30 p.m. and a symphony performance leading up to the fireworks.

Pensacola Beach is also hosting a Fourth of July fireworks show to ring in the annual holiday. The show will run from 8:30-9 p.m., but families should get there early to reserve a spot.
