The race to replace outgoing Pensacola Mayor Grover Robinson features veteran City Council members as well as two newcomers.
Jewel Cannada-Wynn was an educator for 27 years and served in the military for 20 years. She was on the City Council in two different districts.
Sherri Myers has served on the City Council for 12 years and says transparency is “a cornerstone upon which equity is based.”
D.C. Reeves is a former sportswriter who worked on Robinson’s transition team, while Steve Sharp was an Escambia County Sheriff’s Deputy. Sharp pledged to donate 20% of his salary to local charities.
