Florida’s Great Northwest participates in summit

by Margaret Willard

Florida’s Great Northwest (FGNW), the Panhandle’s economic development organization, was represented at the SelectUSA Investment Summit last month. It was one of 14 areas invited to participate in the annual high-profile summit, which has helped generate over $59 billion in new U.S. investment projects.

FGNW is an investor-supported organization, created to promote Northwest Florida for economic growth and diversification to improve regional competitiveness through collaboration.

FGNW President and CEO Jennifer Conoley, along with U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo and Deputy Secretary Don Graves, participated in the exclusive, closed-door meeting hosted by the U.S. Department of Commerce, which leads SelectUSA.
