Ascension Sacred Heart hospital named among top in nation

by Margaret Willard

Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast hospital has been named one of the country’s top 100 acute care hospitals, according to Fortune Magazine’s annual list. It is the sixth time the hospital has made the list since opening in 2003.

“Earning this national recognition for the sixth time is truly remarkable and a testament to all of our associates and physicians who always put patients first,” Ascension Sacred Heart Regional President Henry Stovall said.

“We’ve had a special relationship with this community for almost 20 years. We will continue to deliver the compassionate, high-quality health care that everyone in our community deserves.”
