Pensacola Mayor Grover C. Robinson IV was named a “Home Rule Hero” by the Florida League of Cities for a second-straight year.
The award goes to municipal leaders who advocate for local control. “These local officials were constantly engaged and actively advocating for their communities throughout the 2022 Legislative Session,” read a League statement about the winners.
Added Robinson, “I am always thankful for the Florida League of Cities’ commitment to maintaining local control over the issues that matter most to our residents, and it is truly an honor to be recognized with the Home Rule Hero Award again.”
