Republican Rep. Jason Shoaf hauled in a whopping $80,000 and change in April to defend his House seat, despite facing no opponents this cycle.
Shaof raised $75,000 through Honest Leadership, a political committee launched in late 2019. That haul was boosted by a $25,000 donation from the Florida Medical Association PAC, as well as $10,000 donations from Duke Energy, Simply Healthcare Plans and Centene Management Company.
Another associated political committee, Protect Our Florida Values, pulled in $5,000. Shoaf collected just $400 via his campaign account.
Shoaf holds more than $876,000 as of April 30.
