Florida’s Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis has earned endorsements from the Florida Fire Chiefs Association (FFCA) and Florida Forestry Association as he seeks re-election this year.
“CFO Patronis has continued to advocate for legislation that supports firefighters and first responders across the state and we’ve been shoulder to shoulder with him many times as we headed into disasters,” FFCA Executive Director Ray Colburn.
Added FFA President Carlton Jones, “He has been a vocal advocate for forestry throughout his time in public service.”
Then-Gov. Rick Scott appointed Patronis to the post in 2017. Patronis then won his first full term in 2018.
