Panhandle lawmakers invite constituents to Blue Angel show

Republican Rep. Alex Andrade is inviting constituents to join him at the U.S. Navy Blue Angels Homecoming Show in July.

The Pensacola Beach event is slated on July 8 and 9 in Pensacola Beach. Andrade, a Panhandle Republican, serves as chairman of the Constituent Priorities political committee.

Established in 1946, the Blue Angels fly air shows nationwide, demonstrating the abilities and professionalism of the U.S. Navy. Roughly 11 million spectators attend the air shows every year, per the Blue Angels website.

Only the finest pilots staff the Blue Angels. Only 260 pilots can boast the Naval assignment.
